TARA ZIMLIKI

Tara is a Certified Personal Trainer through The American Council on Exercise (ACE), and a Boot Camp Instructor. She has also completed and has trained with top athletes at University of South Carolina where she was awarded a full cross country scholarship. Tara has a B.A. from Rutgers University and specializes in fat loss and nutrition.

Tara has a passion for helping people to change both their body and mind. She embodies the belief that results are also about having a positive attitude. She works on helping her clients to stay positive and makes her workouts both challenging and rewarding. All of her programs are designed to produce results while having fun!

Tara is running this years ING NYC Marathon on behalf of the charity "Team for Kids."

A Love of Running

Tara knew she had a love for fitness and exercise as a child. She started running at the young age of 7 and knew right away this was her sport. She played numerous other sports but running was her niche. She enjoyed this sport so much that she ran up until she gave birth to her four children. Tara also completed the NY Marathon 8 months pregnant. Tara has completed 42 Marathons and hundred of races worldwide.

In addition, she has won many 5Ks and placed in the top of many long distance runs. In 2008 Tara placed in the top 500 women for the NYC Marathon. She also recently won the USATF New Balance Long Distance Grand Prix for all women 34 & under for the 4th consecutive year. She will continue to help men & women change their lives through fitness. Everyone has their legacy and for Tara her legacy has always been helping people to get fit!
